THE LEARNING CENTER

The Garden Grove Learning Center is a designated set of classrooms where educators and resource specialists provide multi-leveled instructional support to students. Students receiving special education services and students in general education may be served at the same time in the Learning Center. The Learning Center provides students with supplementary, direct instructional services in content, learning strategies, and progress monitoring in academics, transition, or social communication skills. Our Resource Specialists provide assessment based instruction focusing on specific areas of need. Data collection monitors response to intervention and provides anecdotal data as a reference for other forms of support. Garden Grove Elementary School is committed to supporting students with all abilities, even during Virtual Learning or Blended Learning.
